There’s a lot more to Swan Valley than wine and good food. With beautiful wide open spaces, fresh country air, and endless opportunities to wander among natural and historical settings, it makes sense that people are escaping the city to find their Zen.
I’ve gotta say, there truly are few things in the world more delicious than fresh bread.
I am an absolute carb-lover, and could easily eat bread for every meal of the day. Deceptively simple but oh-so-tasty, freshly baked bread has well and truly earned its spot as a favourite in picnic baskets, on cheese boards and topped with lashings of butter at the dinner table.
It’s no secret that I love the Swan Valley – it’s got great food, delicious wines and stunning vineyards, my favourite cider, lots of incredible small buisnesses and, best of all for me, is only a few minutes down the road (but still only 25 minutes from the city if you’re not quite so close).
In fact, some of my best memories include summer days spent exploring the Valley with my besties, and I’m looking forward to adding some winter Valley memories this year.
That’s why I’m super excited to have partnered with the Swan Valley to showcase some of the very best of what the region has to offer.
There’s a lot to love about the Swan Valley – including award winning wineries and breweries, incredible food and fresh local produce. But best of all? It’s only a quick 20 minute trip from the CBD (and even closer from my place). If it’s been awhile since you’ve visited, here’s part one of my top picks of things to see/eat/do in the Swan Valley.
