After brother and sister Gerture and Abalone are left orphaned following a ‘pruning accident’, the pair retreat into their own world, agoraphobic, starved of human interaction and clinging to each other with both hope and resentment.

Fringe World 2016: El Bizarro review

El Bizarro is back after a sold out debut season last year, with the very best sideshow rarities, human oddities and variety superstars from all around the world.

While definitely not for the faint-hearted, this incredible show is hands down one of the best you will see at Fringe World this year.

Above all else El Bizarro is a celebration of the bizarre, a vibrant, energetic and fun spectacle that is sexy and shocking in equal mix. The carefully curated line-up of quality entertainers had the audience laughing and gasping, with an electric atmosphere that hung around long after the final performance.

Fringe World 2016: my top picks

It’s almost here! Following the official launch this morning, Fringe World Festival is returning to Perth for 2016, bringing with it exciting venues, amazing artists, and perfect summer vibes.

From 22 January to 21 February, the City of Perth will come alive and make you realise just how great P-town can be. As the THIRD LARGEST Fringe event in the world, there are a tonne of brilliant ticketed and free events on offer.

So make your way to one of the buzzing Fringe hubs – the Pleasure Garden, Perth Cultural Centre and Noodle Palace are my faves – grab a drink and a bite to eat, soak up the chilled atmosphere and catch one of these shows – you’ll be glad you did!
