Fringe World 2018: No Way Rosé review

Melbourne comedian Rose Callaghan is well known across the radio circuit after appearing on triple j, Double J, ABC and Nova, and is making a name for herself as one of the country’s best up-and-coming comics after selling-out her debut show in 2016.

A self-described poor man’s Zoey Deschanel, Rose debuted No Way Rosé in Perth, letting us know up front that this was our chance to see brand new material that might never be seen again. Rose promised nothing schmaltzy or poignant, just stupid, silly stories about the best and worst things she’s done while drinking, and about why rosé is known as ‘cougar juice.

Fringe World 2017: Limbo review

If you’ve ever read a list of shows not to miss at Fringe World or caught any of the media surrounding the yearly event, Limbo is the show you’ve undoubtedly heard of.

It’s been billed as ‘raising the bar’ as a new and exciting circus-cabaret, an unmissable party between heaven and hell.

To put it bluntly, there’s a hell of a lot of hype surrounding this show – reviewers have called it chilling and thrilling, indescribable, sensational and among the best in town. And there’s no denying it is a lot of a fun.

The Food Project: Health Freak Café

It would be so easy for me to start this review with just a bunch of heart-eye emojis, but I guess I owe it to a place I love so much to write a bit more than that!

So yes, I love Health Freak Café and I am so excited that there are finally places like this around – where there are loads of vegetarian and vegan goodies on the menu, alongside meals to make the omnivores happy. At Health Freak Cafes absolutely everything is gluten and refined sugar free, and the whole idea is that whatever you order you can feel good about eating it.

Bloggers United AU Perth Event 2016

Last weekend the Bloggers United AU held their second event in Perth, and it was the first blogger event that I had been to.

Not quite sure what to expect I turned up at the Four Points by Sheraton in the city for what ended up being a super fun few hours. So what is Bloggers United AU? It’s a group that aims to connect bloggers, vloggers and Youtubers around Australia, started by the ladies who run NJT Blogger and Sweetaholic Beauty, and their events are an opportunity to establish in-person connections with the blogging community.
