Can you believe there’s only one more weekend left in November? The weeks are going by so fast, I hope you’re making the most of them – that’s part of the reason I share these posts, because whether you’re looking for a date night idea or something to do while catching up with friends, there’s always a way to make memories in Perth.

Billed as a storytelling odyssey, Cirque du Soleil never disappoints, so prepare for a dazzling and impressive journey through a world of imagination, discovery and possibility. This show from the circus geniuses includes a fusion of cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft.
Saturday 25 November
If you’re still buzzing from the knowledge that the majority of Australians believe in equality, keep the good vibes going at the WA Pride Parade. Part of the 27th celebration of PrideFEST, WA’s premier LGBTQI+ arts, culture and community festival, the parade is one of the largest, most colourful street parades in the state. With more than 70 groups and floats and 1500 people taking part, the extravagant parade will celebrate the theme of freedom. Keep an eye out for the rainbow of colours as it winds through Northbridge from 8pm, starting at The Court.
Etsy Made Local
Saturday 25 November
If you’re an avid lover of all things crafty, you can’t miss the Etsy Made Local markets, on again this year at the State Theatre Centre of WA. There will be more WA Etsy sellers than you can poke a stick at, along with a pop up bar and live music. Celebrate all things handmade by browsing the goods of local favourites When Cara Meta Rex, The Tasty Pear, Sunbella, NPCreativeAU, Bare Botanics and many more, selling jewellery, accessories, gifts, homewares and handmade children’s items.
Sunday 26 November
Upmarket is the number one market destination in town, bringing together the best original and handcrafted wares every quarter. The University of WA’s Winthrop Hall and surrounds will be overflowing with Perth’s most talented artists, designers, craftsmen and gourmets, including a dedicated Junior Upmarket and gourmet foodie section. It’s the only place to browse goods from exclusive retailers you won’t find anywhere else, such as Jet Empire Jewellery, Luminessence Candles and Scout Textiles, alongside stalls like Bare Naked Body, Chocolate Alchemist, Delish Ice, Fearless Activwear, Ginger & Lucille, John Taylor Watches, Purity Organics, Second Nature Botanicals, The Prospect Project and Turban Chopsticks.
